Early autumn brings a rich opulent party story encouraging the feel of New Romantics. This story has a bold colour palette using redcurrant, purple and magenta on simple styles. Brocade fabrications create intricate embellishment, and ostrich feather boas and capes are the perfect addition to any party outfit.

Inspired by art student dressing, Studio is a clean modern look that encourages a quirky urban aesthetic. True cold weather items, including belted cable-knit ladies cardigans, duffle coats and tweed jackets teamed with fingerless gloves and beanies create a cosy autumn wardrobe.

Pre-Raphaelite & Blenheim Palace embraces the floaty dress as a key piece. Beautiful chinoiserie and watercolour florals, delicate lace embellishment and vintage beading on silks, georgette and chiffon encourage a luxurious feel; whilst jewelled sash’s, crystal, sequin and silk corsage detailing on a soft pretty colour palette are used here for the ultimate party and bridesmaid dresses.

By winter, the party range moves into Poetic Rose, with oversized William Morris prints mixed with heavy satins, soft taffeta’s and dull gold and burnished bronzes, giving the range a ‘40s’ Parisian feel. Frankincense is the eclectic story leading up to Christmas, inspired by textiles and embellishments from the countries and the regions along the silk route. Rich spicy colours and intricate patterns are key, with damask and Ikat prints creating a captivating contrast of girlish charm.

Pretty, delicate ditsy florals are juxtaposed with foil and monochrome prints to introduce Pebble. The feminine essence of this trend is highlighted with hues of neutral colours, winter whites and greys accented with lilac. Sumptuous fabrications in the form of cashmere, boucle, tweed and boiled wool with soft ruffles and bow detailing lend a certain charm to the trend. Layering is key for the season with fur gillets, oversized blazers and pea coats worn with dark denims and fine wool knits.

Monsoon Boy

Boyswear moves into Autumn with popular styles updated using the inspirational imagery of the London skyline and the beautifully illustrated Sasak children’s books. The theme also includes famous icons from the British Isles such as the Welsh dragon and Scottish Loch-Ness monster hence the collection named ‘Great Brits’ appealing to budding explorers and adventurers alike.

Transporter is all about what boys love, from trucks and diggers; to cars and planes. Traffic jams provide the main source of inspiration for intarsia knits, appliqués and shirt prints with naïve handwriting, a fundamental

characteristic of the Monsoon Boy range. The tapered denim jean worn with checked shirts and long-sleeve tees add an urban edge.

Monsoon’s take on Superheros & Monsters is a must-have for boys. Dinosaurs and robot embroidery are featured alongside comic book superhero graphics. The look is fun and funky, quirkily mixing checks and stripes. Black is the denim colour of choice, with two-tone cords also making an appearance. Bold striped knitwear, conversational intarsias and multi-coloured fairisles in marine blues and ruby reds are interspersed with highlights of fluro yellow and jade green.

Great post! I?m just starting out in community management/marketing media and trying to learn how to do it well – resources like this article are incredibly helpful. As our company is based in the US, it?s all a bit new to us. The example above is something that I worry about as well, how to show your own genuine enthusiasm and share the fact that your product is useful in that case
